Congratulations to my former classmate and friend Tony Liu for performing well on Iron Chef America tonight (episode IA0508). A bunch of us classmates/friends (and I’m sure much of the rest of the state of Hawaii) were so excited and proud of him, even though he ultimately fell to his former mentor Mario Batali in the battle at Kitchen Stadium with Opah as the secret recipe.
