To all the WWE ladies up in hurr… HAPPY GIRLS’ DAY (Hinamatsuri)! I bet some y’all fellas forgot. That’s why I’m here. I take kea. And now, on to our regularly scheduled programming…

Ho, rayboyjr is going all nuts! He got his 8TH WIH correct guess in a row last week (albeit with a 0.5 point doozy ), and made history yet again. Bruddah Takeshi made it two weeks in a row with his two point Google Map gem, and Coconut Willy almost had a clean sweep with 5 total correct guesses. And guess who the Top “tree” WIH leaders are? LOL! This week’s photo gave me a bit of a chuckle.

Beforetime, I went to the beach with my friends and snapped a quick shot of them chillin’ in the sun. Since the resolution on my camera is reasonably decent, I’m able to crop out just a teeny portion of the photo from the background/surrounding areas. So there I was, in Photoshop, dragging around my 500×375 dotted rectangle, trying to find an interesting shot for you guys for this week’s WIH contest.

And then… it appeared before me! Like two moons outta nowhere… Literally!

Before I go on though, lemme preface this photo with a warning. It may be a shade [NSFW], depending on where you work. Woah. Bruddah kuya.d has been on FIYAH lately. He was the first to break the back-to-back stalemate and has gone on to get correct answers 5 weeks in a row now. Along with him, Takeshi collected the second turkey in WIH history while BananaFysh, Coconut Willy, and rayboyjr all went for a lil’ back-to-back action last week. It’s been a while since I featured any yummy food photos up in hurr so I wanted to do one this week. I was *thiiiiis* close to posting one but the photo quality wasn’t all that great… Plus too, I think it was shmall kine obvious. So I decided to class things up a bit and take a photo of a random batchroom somewhere in the 808. Some of you should be pretty happy about this, espesh uncle jimmy.

OK, OK… as we approach Christmas (just two days away!), the holiday spirit is finally hitting me. So even though I was supposed to join the rest of y’all on holiday hiatus, I thought I’d entertain the few of you who are still checking in with this Christmasy-themed Where In Hawaii. Enjoy!

I’m pretty excited today. Not so much for anything other than the promise of this post’s potential comment count.

You see, if history is any indication, the Japanese food shots tend to get a lot of action comin’ in from da regulars and lurkers alike. On top of that, this Hawaii restaurant is not exactly a “mainstream” one. Combine that with the fact that the dish looks it could be from anywhere, and we’ve got the perfect storm. Record-breaking comment count hurrr we come! Muhahaha!

OK, I know somebody will probably get it early and burst my bubble, but a fella can dream right? Since there are only a few known “hotspots” around the island of Lanai, I thought I’d make it a tad more challenging by offering up 4 cropped photos of the non-standard fare.
